Strawberry Blossom Garden Center in Wayne N.J. and
Ploch's Garden Center in Clifton, N.J., are your year
round four season garden showplaces. Easily accessible from Routes 3, 80 and 23, both locations are open all year round, 7 days a week. Local deliveries are available. Pick up a gift certificate for those hard-to-shop-for gardeners.
Each location features five distinctly different departments, all
professionally staffed and willing to help.
SPRING brings the promise of new growth, bright fresh colors and the rebirth of gardens. Browse the seed racks or wait for the early annuals to arrive. Helpful educated staff will help you make the most of your gardens. Fresh flowers, plants and gifts will make your Valentine's, Easter and Mother's Day special.
SUMMER means maintaining those beautiful gardens, enjoying your pond, grilling and relaxing on a garden bench. Don't forget the propane and citronella torches!
FALL brings rich colors of hardy mums and pumpkins. Fall is a great time to reseed lawns, plant shrubs and bulbs for spring. Ponds and garden beds should get prepared for winter. Watch out for ghouls and ghosts in the Halloween gift shop!
WINTER is transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Christmas brings all shades of red, white, green all that glitters and everything in between. The greenhouse is filled with poinsettias of all sizes and colors. The flower shop has beautiful holiday centerpieces and bouquets sure to please. The main stores are decked out with lights, garlands, artificial trees, ornaments and gifts for all tastes. After the holidays, relax by the fire with seasoned wood from Strawberry and Ploch's. Feed the birds and wait for spring again!
